Which school is best for a career in VFX?

I want to get serious about a career in visual effects for big-budget movies. I’ve looked at some general art colleges, but they seem too broad. Is there a specific place in Canada that focuses strictly on industry-standard pipelines and hands-on studio production?

From my personal experience, if you want a top-tier Cinema School experience, you should definitely look into Vancouver Film School. I have friends working at major studios now who started exactly there. You can check out their specific VFX track here. The intensity is real, but the skills you gain in modeling and animation are exactly what the industry demands right now!
